What kind of food does 208 serve?

A delicious menu of rustic Italian cuisine in the Restaurant. Napoletana Pizzas, Salumi, Antipasti, Mozzarellas, Dolci and hot Daily Specials at The Bar.

Are there vegetarian dishes?

Yes. We have at several vegetarian options on our antipasti and pasta menu which can also be served as Mains.

At what time does the kitchen close?

LUNCH: 2.30 pm Monday-Friday.
BRUNCH: 2.30 pm on Saturday and 3.30 pm on Sunday.
DINNER: 10.30 pm Monday-Thursday, 11 pm Friday-Saturday and 9.30 pm on Sunday.

Do you have a Happy Hour?

We go one better to offer 2 for 1 drinks all afternoon (3-6 pm) on beers, Prosecco, table wine and house spirits. We also have a light menu of tasty antipasti and pizza for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up. Great for getting together with a friend or a meeting. Take a break from the office - we have free wi-fi to keep you connected in a more relaxing environment!

Who owns 208 Duecento Otto?

It’s part of the JIA Group Limited, founded and owned by Singaporean entrepreneur Yenn Wong.

Where can customers park?

There is some street side parking in the neighborhood. Taxis are plentiful in the area.

Are Reservations needed ?

Highly recommended for the restaurant although tables can become available at the last minute, so worth putting your name on the waitlist while you have a drink at the Bar. We also encourage people to dine at the bar where no reservations are needed and where we serve a menu of delicious hot and cold Antipasti, Salumi, Napoletana Pizzas, Dolci and Daily Specials.

What is the wait time for walk-ins?

This varies. You can always call ahead and speak with our Receptionist who will let you know how busy we are. If you’re in the neighborhood, please stop by for a drink at the Bar if you have to wait for a table, or give your name and mobile number to the Receptionist, who will call you when a table becomes available. 8pm to 9.30pm is usually the busiest time.

Dress code?

Casual, casual chic or dress-up if you like – we want you to be comfortable. We prefer no shorts or sandals for men for our restaurant level, but are cool with this for the Bar area.

What is your corkage fee?

We have a wonderful wine list and a full bar so prefer customers not to bring their own wines. Corkage is HK$280 for each litre bottle of wine. Note: 208 reserves the right to refuse to bring-in bottles.

How many seats does the restaurant have?

32 at the bar, 52 in the restaurant and up to 22 in the private dining room.

Who designed the interior?

Award-winning designers Autoban from Istanbul who were lauded by Wallpaper magazine. 

What about large parties?

208 can take tables of 6 or less in the restaurant (although with advance notice we can arrange a table for 8), tables of up to 12 in the Restaurant terrace section and up to 22 in the private dining room.
