- ✓200g ground pork
- ✓1 onion, finely diced
- ✓2 carrots, finely diced
- ✓2 celery stalks, finely diced
- ✓400g crushed tomatoes
- ✓200ml red wine
- ✓500ml béchamel sauce
- ✓150g Parmigiano-Reggiano, grated
- ✓200g mozzarella, shredded
- ✓Olive oil
- ✓Salt and pepper
- ✓Fresh basil

Heat olive oil in a large pot and sauté onion, carrot, and celery

Add ground beef and pork, cook until browned

Pour in red wine and let it reduce

Add crushed tomatoes, season with salt and pepper

Simmer Bolognese sauce for 2 hours, stirring occasionally

Prepare béchamel sauce separately

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)

Spread a layer of Bolognese in a baking dish

Layer lasagna sheets, Bolognese, béchamel, and cheeses
