Ingredients

  • 500g pizza dough
  • 200g San Marzano tomatoes, crushed
  • 200g fresh mozzarella, torn
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Sea salt
  • Semolina flour for dusting

    Preheat wood-fired oven to 480°C (900°F)

    Dust work surface with semolina flour

    Stretch pizza dough into a 12-inch round

    Spread crushed tomatoes evenly, leaving a 1-inch border

    Season tomatoes with salt and drizzle with olive oil

    Tear mozzarella into pieces and distribute over pizza

    Transfer to pizza peel and slide into oven

    Bake for 90 seconds, rotating once for even cooking

    Remove when crust is charred and cheese is bubbling

    Top with fresh basil leaves and drizzle with olive oil
