Panna Cotta Recipe:
Ingredients
- ✓2 cups heavy cream
- ✓1/4 cup white sugar
- ✓1 vanilla bean (or 2 tsp vanilla extract)
- ✓1 packet gelatin powder (2 1/4 tsp)
- ✓3 tablespoons cold water
- ✓Mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
- ✓2 tablespoons sugar for compote
- ✓Fresh mint for garnish

Sprinkle gelatin over cold water in a small bowl and let stand for 5 minutes

Split vanilla bean and scrape out seeds

Heat cream, sugar, and vanilla seeds in a saucepan over medium heat

Stir until sugar dissolves but do not boil

Remove from heat and stir in softened gelatin until completely dissolved

Strain mixture through a fine sieve into a pitcher

Pour into 4 ramekins or serving glasses

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set

For berry compote, heat mixed berries with sugar until soft
