Ingredients

- ✓1 3/4 cups heavy cream
- ✓2 packages ladyfinger cookies
- ✓1 cup strong espresso, cooled
- ✓1/4 cup coffee liqueur
- ✓Cocoa powder for dusting
- ✓Dark chocolate shavings (optional)

Whisk egg yolks and sugar in a double boiler until thick and pale

Remove from heat and whisk in mascarpone cheese until smooth

In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks

Gently fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture

Combine cooled espresso and coffee liqueur in a shallow dish

Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the espresso mixture

Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in a 9x13 inch dish

Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers
